His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said was born on the 18 of November 1940 in Salalah, Oman. He study the primary stage in Saidiya school in Salalah. In 1985 his father sent him to Britain to complete his studies. In 1960 joined the military academy in Santhurst. In July 1970 the Sultan Qaboos announced the beginning of the Renaissance
